WNYBAC- Western New York Book Arts Center - The Western New York Book Arts Center promotes greater understanding of printing and book-related arts through education, creation, and exhibition for a broad and diverse community. The Western New York Book Arts Center features a letterpress and screen printing studio, a gallery, a working museum, and a boutique. WNYBAC is a 501(c)3 educational non-profit.
The Wash Project - The WASH Project @ Westside Value Laundromat establishes an outlet to create & engage in art, music & literacy, as well as a neighborhood access point for information regarding a wide range of community services & cultural opportunities
Buffalo Museum of Science - The historic building was designed by August Esenwein and James A. Johnson and opened in 1929. The attractions include animals, astronomy, the science of technology, and more about science.
Second Chance Home - Second Chance Home was created in response to a need in the Buffalo community to develop housing for young mothers in the foster care system. Second Chance Home opened in 2006 to provide parenting youth between the ages of 14-21 with a safe, supportive home to raise their children while working towards their goals related to permanency, self-sufficiency and parenting.
Cornerstone Manor - Buffalo City Mission’s Cornerstone Manor sits at the corner of North and Michigan. The spacious building provides emergency shelter for up to 16 single women and 5 families seeking protection from city streets or an abusive relationship. Up to 12 families and 46 single women can find hope and healing in the facility’s two-year resident recovery program. Women with their children who are housed here were given the opportunity to participate in a literacy based arts and crafts activity.
Buffalo City Mission - Buffalo City Mission’s vision is to restore hope to the homeless and hurting of Western New York. We provide emergency shelter and nourishing meals to thousands of homeless men, women and children. But we don’t believe that’s enough. Men were encouraged to create an inspirational mini-book of quotes that they would refer to on a daily basis to help build strength, hope and wellness.

The Valley Community Center - Valley Community Association
The Valley Community Association (VCA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit United Way agency located in southeast Buffalo. The VCA serves all ages from infants to senior citizens through various services and programs. The VCA operates programs from the Father Carmichael Community Center, the Valley Senior Center, and the Valley Child Care Center, all located at South Park Avenue and Elk Street in the "Valley" neighborhood. Throughout the year the VCA organizes various events to promote community togetherness and neighborhood spirit. Neighborhood residents participated in creating heart shaped books ( all-about/informational/non-fiction as well as fiction) for a Valentine’s Day celebration which showed the community building component between generations in this make and take program.
Tosh Collins Senior – Tosh Collins Senior Center – Community Center providing seniors with activities. Create A Mini-Book provided director with blank mini-books to inspire seniors with literacy and arts & crafts activities based around holiday themes.
The Olmsted School - Providing students with an educational experience that merges academic rigor and relevance with creativity and social responsibility within a safe, caring environment. Butterfly book program was presented for all third grade classroom students.
Smallwood Elementary -Smallwood Drive School serves approximately 670 students from kindergarten through grade 5. A comprehensive educational program is offered to all students, including those needing special education. Create A Mini-Book has served kindergarteners and and fifth graders.

Music Is Art Foundation – Music is Art is dedicated to exploring and reshaping music's cultural, social, and educational impact on our community - supported by a variety of programs and events. Music is Art is a not-for-profit, federal 501c3 organization founded in 2003 by Goo Goo Dolls bassist and Buffalo resident, Robby Takac. Music is Art operates through a board of directors, staff, sponsors and volunteers, as well as collaborations with several partner organizations. Music is Art is proud to enrich our community with access to music.
